Want to get two servings of fruit and vegetables in before 10 am…? Well, look no further than this super easy, super green smoothie bowl. Yes, that’s right, a smoothie in a bowl! It’s great because you can make more of a meal of a smoothie by just adding a few ingredients and delicious toppings.

Shopping list of ingredients for 2 bowls

Honeyed Almonds

  • 1 cup/200g – sliced almonds sliced
  • 2 tsp – coconut oil (melted) or vegetable oil
  • 1½ tbsp – Natural Organic Honey
  • ⅛ tsp – cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp – kosher salt


  • 2 – frozen bananas, broken in half
  • 1 – peeled and pitted avocado
  • 2 cups/400g – loose baby spinach
  • 1 cup/200g – plain Greek yoghurt
  • 1 cup/200g – orange juice
  • ¼ cup/50g – Natural Organic Honey


  • ½ cup/100g – sliced strawberries
  • ½ cup/100g – sliced grapes
  • 2 tsp – hemp seeds
  • ½ cup/100g – blueberries
  • Honeyed Almonds
  • ½ cup/100g – Greek yoghurt
  • additional Natural Organic Honey for drizzling

Ready in three simple steps

Preheat oven to 300°F. Toss the almonds, oil, honey and cinnamon together until almonds are coated. Spread on a parchment-lined sheet pan and sprinkle with kosher salt. Bake for 20 minutes, tossing once halfway through, remove and let cool.

Blend all the smoothie ingredients in a blender until smooth and divide between 2 bowls.

Top each bowl evenly with the fresh fruit and the honeyed almonds, a dollop of Greek yo-ghurt, a sprinkle of hemp seeds and a drizzle of honey.

Handy tips

  • You can double (or triple!) the honeyed almond recipe to use any snack time, just store in a container with a tight-fitting lid.
